What We’re AboutShsl-islandmode-events is an account dedicated to hosting fan events for the Danganronpa community. While our current focus is Gift Exchanges, we may also offer DITYs, Monthly Writing/Artistic Prompts, and otherwise collaborative content in the future.If you find yourself interested in this gift exchange then please continue reading, as we’ll be explaining the joining + creative process, step by step!Getting StartedTo join our discord server/an event, you must apply through our APPLICATION FORM! Applications are open for a few weeks between each event and are linked in our carrd/pinned post.In our Applications, you will be asked for various info. We’d like to highlight two of its points: pitch-hitting and prompts.Prompts are drawing/writing ideas for your gifted. Got something specific you’d like to see? That’s a prompt! In the application we are asking that you list at least THREE prompts for your gifted to go off of, though you’re always welcome to submit more! It is requested that all prompts follow our current theme(s). Here are some examples of prompts:━1) Hajime and Sakura go to the aquarium together [Either/Platonic/Ship]2) Kaede wants to dress more masculine, so the male cast of THH helps! [Either/Platonic/Ship]3) Nonbinary!Makoto and Neopronouns[bun/bunself/xe/xem]!Celestia finding community over their shared experiences regarding gender. [Either/Platonic/Ship]━Pitch-hitting is for any creators gracious enough to take on an extra piece if another contributor drops out of the event. A pitch-hitter may be asked to do two pieces instead of one, but will only receive one gift in return. We appreciate anyone willing to take on this role, one thousand percent!And finally, If you are interested in joining a gift exchange but miss the application period— don’t worry! Applications will open again a week after each event’s end. While you may miss out on the previous gift exchange, you’ll always have the opportunity to join in the next one. Our discord server is where we’ll be holding these events, so a discord account is REQUIRED for participation.Who is Accepted?Everyone is welcome to apply! It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or a master, as creators of all kinds are encouraged to join us. The only creators NOT allowed to attend are those whose work solely consists of AI, or similarly plagiarized content. If the mod team finds you using AI/stealing, you’ll be removed from our server and banned from participating in any future events.What Comes after JoiningYou may find our schedule in the guidelines section of this carrd.Once you apply, you are consenting to not only have read our guidelines/rules, but also adhering to the listed deadlines. For the first two deadlines a three day extension may be granted, but if we do not hear back from you four days after a check-in has passed [or two days if it’s after the final check-in!] we’ll unfortunately have to remove you from the project. While this won’t necessarily get you kicked/banned from our server, this may affect your entry into future events if done too frequently.You are welcome to participate in one event, skip the next, and then participate in another! You may attend as many or as little events as you wish.
